“They will then enjoy two weeks break and return for the Second Semester on April 18, 2017 after the Esther Break. The next Session is expected to end in July”, the statement read.
The release was silent on the much anticipated admission list, but a source within the administration of the University revealed that the admission list will be out before the 30th November, 2016 deadline given by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB–the statutory body saddled with the responsibility of processing admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria. With the new academic calendar out, the focus now shifts to “when the admission list will be out”.
